Homa Bay Children's Home
The Homa Bay Centre is basic by UK standards, but does offer children the benefits of a home as well as activities such as carpentry, sewing lessons and games. The centre has beds for fifty children, with the remainder sleeping at boarding schools or local people's homes.
What we aim to achieve
To provide food, shelter, health and education a supportive environment, where children can grow as they should. By allowing children to recover from earlier experiences and form close friendships with other youngsters, we help them begin again.

£10 a month buys a mattress and bedding for a child
£20 a month buys a full set of text books for a child's schooling
£50 a month pays an entire terms school fees for a disabled child
